About Hardened Screw
At Bhagwati Enterprise, hardened screws are manufactured using advanced heat treatment processes to improve strength, durability, and wear resistance. One of the primary methods used is quench hardening, where the screw material is heated to a controlled high temperature and then rapidly cooled. This process increases the hardness of the screw and prepares it for demanding industrial applications.
After the quenching process, the screws are tempered to reduce brittleness and enhance toughness. This step ensures that the screw maintains the right balance between hardness and flexibility, allowing it to perform efficiently under heavy operational loads and high-wear conditions.
Another important treatment used during manufacturing is annealing, where the material is heated and cooled in a controlled manner to refine the internal structure of the metal. This process helps improve mechanical properties such as strength, hardness, and ductility while also relieving internal stresses within the material.
Bhagwati Enterprise manufactures hardened screws using high-quality alloy steels such as H13 grade material, achieving surface hardness levels of approximately 62–65 HRC. These screws are typically available in diameters ranging from 14 mm to 120 mm, with lengths up to 3 meters, making them suitable for plastic processing and engineering applications involving high-wear materials like glass-fiber reinforced compounds.
